Slow But Sure!
I weighed in yesterday and I am down .4 which is somewhat frustrating but better a loss than a gain. Its just coming off so slow now. My dh and I weigh in on the same day, him at work on a scale there, and me at Weight Watchers. Well, all week I have remained OP, drank all my water plus, and put anywhere from 14,000 to 25,000 steps on my pedometer five days a week and in walks Mr. Wonderful and says I lost half a pound. Now this guy eats any dessert he wants, goes back for seconds at mealtime and doesnt exercise anywhere near what I do and he loses more than me. WTF!!! When he told me this I had a total melt down and started bawling like a baby. Dh thought I had lost it he looked at me in complete astonishment and fear. LOL After a good cry I managed to get it together again and gained control but it was touch and go there for a while. Dh reminded me of how far I had come and to be proud of all my accomplishments so I forgave him for losing more than me. Next week he best gain if he knows whats good for him. LOL Hope you all are having a wonderful week. :)

You're a crack up! I'm glad you had a loss too... sometimes it feels SOOO slow!
lol arghh men and their fast metabolisms but someone told me that the slower it comes off the more permenant! so hope that thats what it is :)
Congrats on the loss! Keep up the good work :)
You can't compete with a man. You'll lose your mind if you do. You are almost there--you will get to goal and it will be sooo sweet! You're doing sooo great!!
Men may lose weight faster but they also lose their hair faster - I am a firm believer that that is God's secret revenge against them!!! Seriously, way to go on the loss........you are such an inspiration and have done amazing things! I passed your story on to a friend of mine who kept telling me that she had grandkids so she couldn't lose weight - What the heck does that have to do with anything??? So, I turned her on to your blog - hope you don't mind but I wanted her to see that it could be done and I immediately thought of what a great job you have done....so I knew you were her ticket to inspiration!! Thanks for helping out my friend and for making me smile!!
Men-They usually get better looking as they age and they lose weight quicker. Something is right here! Glad you recovered--can't wait until you hit goal and become a leader.
I meant to say ISN'T Right here!
Men seem to have a whole different metabolism, don't they? My husband is the same way!
You're doing just fine. A loss is a loss. Good for you!
Great job on the loss! All those little bits add up so don't be discouraged. Men lose faster, it sucks. My husband has lost almost double what I've lost in the same amount of time. It used to bum me out but I've just gotten used to it. He has more to lose than me any way so it all works out. Stay positive and keep up the walking and exercise.
Did I read correctly?!?! You lost 81 pounds?!?! BRAVO!!! When you have the time, please consider sharing your story on TheWeighWeWere!!
any loss is a loss...and .4 is not so much less than .5 my dear!!! LOL
it's not like he had the audacity to lose 2 pounds or something! :D
Hahaha! I hate how it's so easy for men to lose weight! It's worse when you're around guys who are trying to gain. . .oh, the injustice.
